Photo, Covering a Bachelor and Spinsters Ball Out West, The Australian, Circa 1990.

I'm the chap with the reporter's pad stuck down his pants. The story on Australia's infamous Bachelor and Spinster Balls, beloved by country youth coming of age,  ran on Page One and caused a storm of indignation.
