The Chief of Staff I am complaining so bitterly about is Paul McGough, who I loathed working for.
Rather than disappearing, as Zac, the head of photography, predicted, he went on to cover the war in Iraq and during the 2010s to be the American correspondent for the SMH, a much sought after position.
To this day, I particularly dislike his to my mind fatuous American copy.
